All of our garments have a "tailored" cut; slightly tapered to fit body shape and keep a well fitting look throughout. The amount of contour is more gradual for looser fitting items. For our Women's style, this means more room in the bust & hips and a slightly tapered waist. For our Men's style, this means more room in the shoulders and a slightly tapered waist/hips area.

Excellent cold weather biking option
I’ve used these now a few times in the past two months biking to work. I save these for days when the temps get below zero and have a think wool glove as a liner. They cut the wind completely and retain heat great. I think I tried them out in -17 windchill and my hands were fine. I love the cinch and release feature which both can be used while the think mitten is on. I would say they aren’t super comfortable if you have too thin of a liner. They are probably too much mitten if you only need a thin liner anyway. The one feature that would be great to see would be a reflective patch on each mitt for visibility especially when signaling a turn on the bike. Great product overall.

Good product, as always
I just bought these and used them for biking in cold weather. They work very well. I can adjust the weight of the inside warmth layer. Right now I am using them with a fairly thin wool glove as my conditions are not real cold. I like that they are cover the cuff of my jacket and protect from the headwind. I am looking forward to using them (with a heavier mitten) on our winter January camping trip with you folks in about a month.

Another Excellent Product
These are my "adventure mittens." I wear them over a pair of WSI (another made in MN company) base layer gloves. I regularly run 5-10mi or so on trails outside in MN in January and these mittens protect my hands from wind, snow, brambles, and ice. They reach pretty far up my arm and can be cinched down to keep snow from getting in my sleeve if I wipe out sledding or cross-country skiing. I can honestly say that I'm proud to wear them and they give me greater confidence than I had with cheap, sub-par gear.

Excellent Shell Mitts
I've been using shell mitts for over 20 years and have had numerous brands, styles and designs. I currently own 14 pairs and these are in the top 5. I like that these have a decent size gauntlet for fitting over your bulky sleeve which many don't. The nylon used is a good thickness. The nose wipe uses a thick 300 weight fleece which is handy when needed. The stitching and general construction are professionally done even though they're not mass produced on a line which can be a good thing. I like that the mitt has a 3D design that is hand form fitted like other high end shell mitts. The ToughTek grip palm pad is sort of a high density rubberized textured material that seems durable, but only time will tell. The cuff strap and cinch cord are standard issue, but are done very well. I bought the XL in order to fit my MEC size Large primaloft mitt liners (roughly 100gm/m²). They just fit so I'm happy with the sizing. I think these shell mitts are an excellent clothing gear investment and are worth the price. Especially now a days !! Cheers
