All of our garments have a "tailored" cut; slightly tapered to fit body shape and keep a well fitting look throughout. The amount of contour is more gradual for looser fitting items. For our Women's style, this means more room in the bust & hips and a slightly tapered waist. For our Men's style, this means more room in the shoulders and a slightly tapered waist/hips area.

Seamless shoulders and back pleat
This jacket is made to move! Shoulder seams fall on front and back of jacket, while back pleat allows for increased range of movement to keep you comfortable.
Elastic draw-cord on hood and base
Adjustable cords allow you to adapt to your environment. Cinch the hood in on a windy day or keep it loose for other layers.

I had purchased a jacket similar to the terrapin in 2000, when we were at Wintergreen dogsledding. It lasted until last year, 2020. I had finally worn it out! I thought I would get another and it would last another 20 some years. The quality is outstanding! I still have my hat and fleece pull over. Both are in great shape!
