Amazing! Best mittens, unfortunately this winter hasn't really been cold enough to put them to the test but it has been down to -17°F (Feels like temp) and my hands were the warmest part of my body. These paired with their two jacket setup keeps me nice and toasty.

LOVE these mitts for lots of reasons and activities

I originally bought these for driving horses in the winter, a cold activity indeed. I used them for fat tire biking (before I discovered pogies). Now I use them for my daily 5 am walks and all kinds of cold-weather activities. My favorite thing about the plunge mitt (besides everything) is the strap. I wear them with the inner liner pulled out and I wear a thin cross-country ski glove as the inner liner. That way when I get warm I can just drop the mitt until my hands cool again. With the strap, the plunge mitts never get filled with snow because they are hanging on my neck! They are easy to put on and take off as my needs change along my route due to exertion or weather. I have had mine for approximately 17 years. They show no signs of wear. To wash just pull out the layers, pop them in the wash in a large lingerie bag, wash in cold, tumble dry. Tada, new mitts, ready for the next sweaty, snotty adventure in the snow! Warm dry hands and the ability to be active in the deep cold is worth the investment. Thanks, Wintergreen!
